I don't know if you'll remember me or our son, Jaron? I remember being with you at Duke, when Jaron was two or three weeks old, seeing you with him and knowing what a great mom you already were. I remember running into you and Aiden at the clinic in Asheville, too, and the fellow mom-of-hypoplast bond that you just can't help but feel. I am so sorry for the loss of your beautiful boy - and so deeply impressed at your loving response. Thank you. You will all be in my heart and prayers. (Jaron is currently doing well, for which I am eternally grateful -- it is a hard road for these special little souls!)

When I think of Aiden, I smile. The very first time I met this precious little angel, he made me smile. He was such an amazing little boy with the warmth, love and joy of a giant. Everytime I saw Aiden, he was always smiling and so bubbly and friendly, and so loving. i think Aiden loved everyone he came in contact with, and everyone loved him. Aiden was truly a special gift from God to his parents and family, and to all of us who were fortunate enough to get to meet him. I miss his little smiling face and his excitement in his voice when i see his family now, but, along with the sadness of missing him, remembering him still makes me smile. What a tremendous gift he had. I will never forget you Aiden. I too have made plans to make Heaven my home oneday, and i look forward to talking with you again, and letting you show me around with all your excitement. Matt and Jessica, Jody, Cathy, and all the family,,with all your pain, just remember we all love you, have you in our prayers, and that you too will be reunited with Aiden again someday. This is not the end.

Aiden, we sure miss you down here but are glad you are pain free and running, talking and laughing in heaven with Jesus! I loved working with you on your feeding and speech and watching you grow and change. You were truly a miracle and I am blessed to have been a part of your life. I have been thinking about your mommy and daddy!
